Pioneer Tunnel Hosting Trick-or-Treat Event

The Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine and Steam Train will be hosting a Trick-or-Treat Pioneer Bash event on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 2-5 p.m. in Ashland.

The event will feature free pony rides, hay rides, a petting zoo, balloon artist, face painting, treat bags, hot dogs, and drinks.

A special presentation will be provided by Haunted Anthracite Tales. Music will be provided by The Dynamics Department.

Local businesses and non-profit organizations will be there handing out treats, too. Those businesses and non-profits can register for the event by emailing the Pioneer Tunnel.

Steam train and coal mine tours will also be available and tickets can be purchased at pioneertunnel.com.
