Looks like Saturday’s beautiful weather was just the beginning of an Indian Summer in Schuylkill County this week.
In fact, the temperature could hit 80 over the next few days with almost no chance of rain.
According to the 7-day forecast from National Weather Service for Pottsville, high temps will be in the mid-70s on Sunday with a lot of sunshine and a very gentle breeze.
That trend continues through the middle of the week. And on Wednesday, the forecasted high temperature in Pottsville is 80!
It’s going to feel a lot warmer than that after the damp, chilly week we just endured.
While the high on Wednesday is forecast at 80, the temps on Monday and Tuesday will get really close.
On a sunny Monday, expect a high of about 77. There’s more sun on Tuesday with a high of 78 expected.
Things likely will cool down a bit toward the end of the week, but only slightly. Highs on Thursday and Friday will be 73 and 70, respectively, with a bit more cloud cover.
There’s a slight chance of showers Friday and Saturday.
