Police say a man with a gun robbed a mini mart in Schuylkill County late last month.
According to information released by State Police in Frackville to Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers, the incident happened at the Sheppton Mini Mart, East Union Township, at about 10:15 p.m. on the night of August 28.
Police say a white man entered the store through its rear entrance around the time the market was closing for the day.
The man “brandished a black handgun with a brown handle” and ordered the store employees to get on the ground.
Police say the robbery suspect then stole $700 in cash from the store’s register and forced the employees into the beer cooler. He then turned off the lights to the store and left through the rear exit.
Walking with a limp, the suspect was wearing a black ski mask and a black, hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, gray gloves, and black and white sneakers during the incident.

The suspect allegedly then headed north on Route 924 toward Hazle Township, police say.
