Yvette Kilpatrick, 62 – Enjoy Cooking for Friends and Family

Yvette Kilpatrick, 62, of Tamaqua, formerly of Jim Thorpe, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.

She was the wife of Roger Kilpatrick Sr. They were married on June 24, 1978 and celebrated 44 years of marriage.

She worked at the Jim Thorpe Market and Ron’s Hilltop Market, Jim Thorpe.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Philomena “Phyllis” Lopez, of Jim Thorpe and the late Dimas Lopez.

She was of Christian faith.

She enjoyed reading, music, and cooking for friends and family.

She took interest in nature programs, history, and the supernatural.

Yvette was very nurturing and loving to everyone that she met.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Roger, and mother, Phyllis, are three sons, Roger, Jr. and his fiancée, Jennifer, of Tamaqua, Chris, and his fiancée, Kathy, of Lansford, and Joseph, and his fiancée, Kelly, of Coaldale; daughter, Stacy, of Jim Thorpe; brother, James Lopez, and his wife, Amy, of Easton; sister, Minnette Lopez, of New York; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.

Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
