Joyce Petrozino, 85 – Family Was Most Important

Joyce Petrozino, 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 4, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family in St. Clair.

Born in Port Carbon, June 18, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Bazar) Everdale.

She was a 1955 graduate of Port Carbon High School. She went on to work as a secretary at Pottsville Bleach and Dye before retiring as a personal care aid.

Joyce was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Fan but nothing was more important to her than her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Petrozino in 2019, sister Claire Anice Everdale and step granddaughter Brittany Guris.

A devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother she is survived by her 3 sons Robert J. Petrozino and his wife Melissa of Pottsville, Michael C. Petrozino and his wife Denise of St. Clair, Thomas J. Petrozino of St. Clair, daughter Susan (Petrozino) Miklesavage and her husband Keith of St. Clair, brother Charles Everdale and his wife Joanne of Port Carbon, 8 grandchildren Bobbi Lynn, Kristen, Nicole, Rachael, Michael, Sarah, Tyler, Vinnie, step grandson Marty Guris, 18 Great Grandchildren, Adra, Jameson, Maiya, Tj, Brooklyn, Kingsly, Brinly, Benson, Colby, Carson, Noah, Judah, Maeve, Beckett, Sophia, Merida, Billy and Bella.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
