Sandra L. Fetterman, 85 – First President of Ringtown Lioness Club

Sandra Louise Fetterman, 85, a resident of Ringtown, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

Sandy was born in Potomac Heights, MD, on January 7, 1938, a daughter of the late Howard and Virginia (Byerly) Warnick.

She worked as a field representative and interviewer for both the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) and the US Census Bureau until her retirement.

Sandy was the first president of the former Ringtown Lioness Club, and later a member of the former Ringtown Lions Club. She was also a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ringtown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers and a son, David.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ronald Fetterman, along with their two children, Darlene, wife of Raymond Manjone and Timothy Fetterman and his wife Kimberly.

Grandchildren, Meredith, Amanda, Tami, Anthony, Staci, Kristopher, Jenna and Francis, along with 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild survive. A sister, Virginia Rhoads also survives along with nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Sandra’s family will be held at a later date. You are welcome to make a donation in her memory to the Capital Campaign Fund of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ringtown.
