A traffic stop on a wanted man from Barnesville resulted in police finding what they believe to be fentanyl and other drugs, guns, and thousands in cash.
According to information from State Police in Frackville, the traffic stop happened on Monday afternoon at Henkel St. and Marian Ave., Rush Township. Police say Kenneth Lee Kryworuka was the subject of an investigation between PSP and the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office and had outstanding bench warrants out of Schuylkill and Luzerne counties.
During a search of Kryworuka’s vehicle, which police say he allowed, a “substantial” haul of “contraband” was found.
Police say about $3,800 worth of suspected fentanyl, $90,000 in methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marijuana, two guns, and more than $7,500 in cash were in Kryworuka’s vehicle.
Kryworuka was arraigned before District Judge Jimmy Reiley and sent to Schuylkill County Prison on $75,000 bail.
He’s facing 4 felony charges of possession with intent to deliver, according to court records.
