Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a convenience store robbery suspect in one part of Schuylkill County.
According to information released Sunday by State Police in Schuylkill Haven, the robbery happened back on Feb. 7, a little after 1 a.m., at Barr’s Sunoco. The store is located along Suedberg Rd., Pine Grove Twp.
Still shots from video surveillance inside the store show a person entering the store wearing a black hoodie, black pants with a white belt, and a pair of black-and-white Nike sneakers. (See images in this post.)
The robbery suspect allegedly hit the cigarette case behind the cash register with a bit of reckless abandon, as the photos shared with the media show numerous loose packs scattered below the suspect.
They also made off with the cash register, too, which reportedly had about $200 cash inside it.
Police believe the suspect took off from the store in the direction of 2½ Mile Rd.
Anyone with information about this reported robbery outside Pine Grove is asked to call Trooper Erik Auffant at the Haven barracks at 570-754-4600.
