Don’t get too used to this really mild weather here in Schuylkill County. Enjoy it while it lasts.
We’ll see another warm day in the coal region on Thursday with an expected high temperature of 57 degrees. That’ll be our low temperature at night, too.
There’s a chance of rain showers after 4 a.m. Any rain that does fall won’t amount to much, however.
What we can definitely expect with this warm air is a stiff breeze. Winds will pick up to a steady 5-9 mph in the afternoon But then at night, it’ll get breezier with gusts up to 31 mph expected, according to National Weather Service.
Temperatures cool off slightly the rest of the week but high temps for the next 7 days won’t even come close to the freezing mark as our mild winter continues.
