Fern C. (Moyer) Staller, 95 – Former Sunday School Teacher

Fern C. Staller, 95, formerly of Summit Station area passed away Sunday, January 29th, at Providence Place Retirement Community Pottsville.

Fern was born in South Manheim Twp., PA on April 27, 1927, a daughter of the late Lillie Mae (Berger) and Thomas F. Moyer.

She was the widow of Sterling M. Staller. who died in 2011.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Summer Hill.

Fern previously worked for Losch Boiler and retired from Craftex Mills Auburn where she worked in the office at both places.

She was a member of Eastern Star and numerous committees at church, Quilters Guild, Altar Guild and a former Sunday School Teacher.

Fern is survived by three sons Craig Staller and partner Douglas Bonsall, of Harrisburg PA; Brian, husband of Pegi Staller, of Summit Station; Scott, husband of Robbin Staller, of Harrisburg. Also survived by 5 grandchildren Clark and wife Kelly, Charity, Evelyn, Shane and Nicole 4 greatgrand children Ulysses, Ryker, Quinn and Cassidy, and a brother Clair Moyer Auburn

She was preceded in death by sister Orna Moyer and a brother Milton Moyer

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 2nd at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Summer Hill in Auburn, PA with Pastor Eileen Smith LeVan officiating with a visitation for family and friends from 9:30 – 10:30 am

The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 1185 Summerhill Road Auburn PA 17922.
