Grant Money Available to Promote Tourism to Schuylkill County

The Schuylkill County Visitor’s Bureau (aka Explore Schuylkill) is giving out marketing mini grants to businesses in the tourism industry.

Grant winners need to use the money to promote attractions, events, and businesses that could draw visitors to Schuylkill County.

Here are just some of the types of businesses eligible for this marketing mini grant:

• Accommodations
• Transportation, travel services
• Food and beverage services
• Retail
• Recreation

Entertainment organizations, specific events, and members of Explore Schuylkill are also eligible for these tourism grants.

The money awarded ban be spent on TV ads, internet ads, digital content, print ads, social media ads, and videos.

Grants will be awarded for $250-3,500.

The deadline to apply for the Explore Schuylkill Marketing Mini Grant is 5 p.m. on Feb. 28.
