A Ringtown man died Tuesday morning in a vehicle crash at the Highridge Industrial Park in Cass Twp.
According to information released this afternoon from State Police in Frackville, the crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday along Keystone Blvd.
Police say 64-year-old Duane Kline, of Ringtown, was traveling south on Keystone Blvd. in his Chevy Trail Blazer. At the same time, Gabriel Ignacio, 21, of Bethlehem, was headed north in his Freightliner tractor-trailer.
Kline’s vehicle crossed over the northbound lane and hit a curb. After hitting the curb, Kline’s vehicle continued south but in the northbound lane. Ignacio’s truck had a head-on impact with Kline’s vehicle.
An official with the Schuylkill County Coroner’s office pronounced Kline dead at the scene of the crash.
Ignacio escaped the crash uninjured.
