A Schuylkill County man was sentenced to federal prison time last week for selling meth in the area.
According to information from the US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, 34-year-old David Collazo, of Frackville, received a 100-month sentence from US District Court Judge Robert Mariani on Thursday.
Collazo had pleaded guilty on a charge of possessing with intent to distribute crystal methamphetamine in the Schuylkill County area between December 2018 and February 2019.
US Attorney John Gurganus says Collazo was selling a “highly pure” meth in the area. The case was investigated by the FBI, Pennsylvania State Police, and Schuylkill County Drug Task Force.
The case against Collazo was started through the federal Project Safe Neighborhoods initiative.
