A Schuylkill County man says someone stole some expensive Christmas presents he’d hidden in his house prior to the holiday.
According to State Police in Schuylkill Haven, a Rock man says he purchased some jewelry in early December and hid them in his home.
He says he purchased 2 necklaces and a set of earrings from Kay Jewelers on Dec. 9. But when he went to retrieve them from their hiding spot on Dec. 21, the jewelry was gone.
The man says the jewelry was taken from the bag and the boxes in which they were hidden.
Police continue to investigate this alleged theft.
