Less than an inch of snow is expected to fall on Schuylkill County early Tuesday morning.
While accumulations may be minimal from this snowfall, it could have an impact on the morning commute for some in the area.
According to National Weather Service, the highest snowfall totals will be much further north and west of Schuylkill County, with up to 2 inches expected.
Snow is expected fall Tuesday morning but could change to plain rain as temperatures rise above freezing.
Overnight lows in Schuylkill County Monday night into Tuesday are forecast at 26 degrees. A high of 38 is expected on Tuesday.
The next chances for accumulating snow in Schuylkill County are on Thursday, when about one-tenth of an inch is forecast, and on Sunday night into Monday next week.
The first accumulating snow fell on the Pottsville area over the weekend with about a half-inch piling up in some places.
