Police are asking for the public’s help, seeking information on a suspected arson in Schuylkill County Friday morning.
According to information from State Police in Frackville, they responded Friday morning to a fire at a barn along Birds Hill Rd., Washington Township, outside Pine Grove. The barn is owned by Henry Sattizahn, of Pine Grove.
It’s believed that one or several people intentionally lit hay bales on fire. Fire spread and caused more than $10,000 in damage.
Two horses housed in the barn weren’t inside at the time the first started. No other animals were injured during the incident.
Police ask if anyone has information on this suspected arson, they’re to call the Frackville barracks at 570-874-5300.
