Emma Lonsdale, 83 – Loved Time with Her Sisters

On Saturday, October 9th, 2021, Emma Lonsdale passed away peacefully at the age of 83.

Emma was born on May 5th, 1938 to John and Ruth Colahan.

She spent her life living near her family in Wilburton, Pa., with her husband, Dale and three children, Linda, Stephen, and Robert.

Emma had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone. She loved spending time with her sisters eating lunch and drinking black coffee at their favorite local restaurants and was always up for a family party or get together. Her smile and laughter would fill a room. She was well known by many people and loved to talk and laugh with anyone. You could always hear her talking about her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Emma was preceded in death by her father, John, mother, Ruth, husband, Dale, son, Stephen, and brother, James. She is survived by her daughter, Linda and Rick Hicks, son, Robert, grandchildren, Jennifer and Todd Stephens, Danielle and Jonathan Zeigler, Tommy and Jessica Minnig and Jessica Lonsdale, and great grandchildren Madison, Harper, Noah, Lucas, Ezekiel, Cameron, and Grayson as well as sisters, Jackie, Nancy, Donna, and cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services were held from the Zion United Methodist Church, Aristes, on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help defray the funeral expenses.
