Schuylkill County Walk for Recovery This Saturday in Haven

Schuylkill Reach, an overdose awareness and support group, is hosting a Walk for Recovery this Saturday in Schuylkill Haven.

The event starts with registration at 10 a.m. at Island Park in the borough. The walk begins at 11 a.m. and will be within Island Park.

The group says the event is organized to support neighbors in recovery and those struggling with Substance Use Disorder and the families and friends impacted by it.

Recovery service providers will be on hand with information and other resources for those interested. All participants will get a goody bag for attending. And food trucks will be on hand during the walk.
