Lamar L. Stutzman, age 80, of Sarasota, FL, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021, at his residence.
He was born in Hegins Twp. on Thursday, December 5, 1940, a son of the late Lloyd Stutzman and the late Hilda K (Knorr) Stutzman.
He was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School, Hegins, and the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy.
Lamar owned operated several pharmacies in Lancaster County prior to his retirement.
He was of the Protestant Faith.
His wife, Elizabeth Ann (Schrope) Stutzman, passed away in 2020. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and by a brother, Gary Stutzman.
He is survived by two daughters, Ellie L Stutzman and her spouse Carolyn of Sarasota, FL, and Ingrid Stutzman and her spouse Robert of Truckee, CA; two grandsons, Niko Suarez and Leo Suarez both of Truckee, CA; a granddaughter, Diana Stutzman of Sarasota, FL; two sisters, Barbara Wetzel of Valley View PA, and Debra Stiely of Elizabethville PA, and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
