Joan M. Hollenbach, 62, of Pottsville, passed away Monday, September 27th, at Geisinger St. Luke’s Orwigsburg.
Joan was born in Pottsville on September 5, 1959, a daughter of Joan E. (Reidler) Mistishen, of Orwigsburg, and the late Harold (Harry) Mistishen.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ Schuylkill Haven.
She graduated from Blue Mountain High School in 1977.
Joan worked as a Artist and she enjoyed landscaping , gardening, the Arts Barn and The Nature & Discovery Store, in New Ringgold, which she helped operate with her brother Joe.
In addition to her mother, Joan is survived by two daughters, Rachel Crumrine, wife of Randy, of Pine Grove, and Jamie Baver, of Orwigsburg. Her grandchildren are Aaron Crumrine, Killian Skocik, Alexandra Baver and Max Baver.
Joan is also survived by two brothers, Harry Mistishen, Jr. husband of Mary Anne, of York, and Joseph Mistishen, husband of Mary, of New Ringgold. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 5th at Hamilton – Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Rev. Shawn D. VanDyke officiating.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be private at convenience of the Family.
