A Frackville man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison and facing multiple felony charges after being charged with rape of a 15-year-old girl from Lancaster County.
Police say Christopher Schultz, 52, began a sexual relationship with the teen girl back in May. Schultz was arrested back on Sept. 5 and sent to prison on $50,000 cash bail, which he has yet to post.
Court records show the sexual relationship between the two started on May 18 and involved “vaginal sexual intercourse, penetration with foreign objects, and digital penetration.” Police say the two performed oral sex on each other through the course of the relationship, too. These illegal acts happened both at the victim’s house in Lancaster County and at Schultz’ residence on S. Broad Mountain Ave. in Frackville.
Schultz and the victim each sent each other nude photos on their mobile phones. The victim also sent nude videos, too, police say.

The relationship came to light on Sept. 4 when the victim’s mother confronted Schultz over the phone. According to court papers, Schultz tried to explain of the relationship: “She seduced me … She consented … I was teaching her.”
The following day, police reviewed the victim’s phone and found several text exchanges between she and Schultz. An Aug. 29 back-and-forth went like this:
Victim: We should do reverse cowgirl more often. Also, how will we continue our relationship?
Schultz: You didn’t like that
Victim: Yes I did. I liked it when we were on your bed. It just didn’t get deep enough last night.
Schultz: OK
Victim: What?
Schultz: Probably how you were sitting.
Victim: How will we continue our relationship?
Schultz: IDK … unless we just keep it at a sexual relationship.
Victim: Still want to date you and continue f***ing but that’s me. The (root) of it is all jealousy.
Schultz: Because you want to … you even said I got a bf, can we still do it.
Schultz now faces multiple felony charges, including:
- 2 counts of first-degree felony Statutory Sexual Assault
- 2 counts of first-degree felony Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse
- 2 counts of second-degree felony Aggravated Indecent Assault
- 1 count of third-degree felony Corruption of Minors
- 1 count of third-degree felony Criminal Use of Communication Facility
- 1 count of third-degree felony Endangering Welfare of Children
- 1 misdemeanor count of Indecent Assault
He was arraigned on Sept. 10 before District Judge James Reiley in Pottsville. Schultz is due back in court on Sept. 29 for a preliminary hearing before District Judge Thomas Xavios in Frackville.
