Police in McAdoo request the public’s help in its investigation of an alleged stabbing in the borough Friday night.
According to information posted to the McAdoo Police Department Facebook page, the incident occurred at about 10:40 pm Friday.
Near the intersection of Kennedy Drive and Jackson St. in McAdoo, police say they found a victim of an apparent stabbing. The man had been stabbed in the lower abdomen.
Stabbing Investigated in McAdoo
The unidentified victim of this alleged stabbing told police via translator that he was walking in the street and suddenly got stabbed. He was then taken to a nearby helipad to be transported via medical helicopter to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police have not provided an identity of the victim and have not updated his condition.
The public is being asked to come forward with any details it may have related to this incident Friday night. Police say they believe a fight between the victim and an unknown suspect could have started or actually happened in the 100 block of E. Blaine St. in McAdoo.
