Nancy Pelosi Posts Picture of the Wrong Willie in Tribute to Willie Mays

California Rep. Nancy Pelosi wanted to honor baseball legend Willie Mays last week on the occasion of his 90th birthday.

So, she (or her social media team) decided to send out a tweet honoring the Say Hey Kid.

Take a minute to ignore the unnecessary blubbering in the tweet and take a look at the photo in this original tweet (since been deleted) …

That’s not Willie Mays. That’s another Giants legend, Willie McCovey.

Pelosi (or her social media team) corrected the mistake and in another tweet, included a photo of herself with the actual Willie Mays.
