About 5,800 COVID vaccine doses were administered last week in Schuylkill County. That number is down by 1,900 over the last week. It’s also the lowest total number of vaccine doses administered since late-February.
All residents 16 years of age and older are eligible to get their COVID vaccines.
However, just about 49% of Schuylkill County residents – among those eligible for the vaccine – have gotten at least one dose. In Schuylkill County, the Pennsylvania Dept. of Health data shows 53,152 people have gotten a partial vaccine. And 37,908 people have been fully vaccinated.
Statewide, more than 3.2 million Pennsylvanians have gotten their full COVID vaccine dosage.
