Jane A. Kleeman, 71, Fountain Springs, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday evening with her family at her side.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late James and Frances Kolenick Curry. She worked as a beautician running her own salon in Frackville for many years before retiring.
Jane was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Frackville and was a devout catholic. She was the director of the St. Joseph music ministry choir, the children’s choir and friends of St. Joseph. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. James, Frackville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved son Joey Kleeman.
Jane is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph Kleeman, Fountain Springs; her three daughters: Taryn and her husband Scott Taylor, Frackville; Tiffany and her husband John Baran, Bronx, NY; Elizabeth Kleeman, Fountain Springs; her two brothers: James H. Curry Jr. and his wife Beth, Slatington; Stephen Curry and his wife Jill, Fountain Springs; her sister Mary Ellen Wysochansky, Frackville; her grandchildren, who she loved and adored, Johannah, Amelia and Michael; her great-grandson, Michael Jr.; also by many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph the Worker Parish (St. Ann’s Church) with Rev. Brian Miller, pastor as the celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. A private viewing for the family, relatives of Joe and Jane Kleeman was held Sunday at Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville.
