Gary Lee Frantz, 61, of New Ringgold, passed away March 23, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with lymphoma. Born in Pottsville on May 23, 1959, he was the son of the late Robert and Joyce Fryer Frantz. He was the husband of Donna Kistler Frantz, to whom he would have been married 40 years on August 1.

A 1977 graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Gary was a master of construction; there wasn’t anything he could not fix or build! He started at his dad’s family construction business, Bob’s Aluminum and later moved on to become leadman at Berks Products. He was employed as a project manager by Empire Education Group and, most recently, as a purchasing assistant at Northeast Prestressed Products.

In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by his daughter Kristin and her husband Jeffrey Kayer; beloved grandchildren Alexis and James Kayer; Sister Jody and husband Kenneth Mack; Brother Glenn; and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, New Ringgold, where he was a past treasurer. He was a former member of the New Ringgold Council and belonged to Pine Creek Fishing Club.

In addition to serving in the aforementioned organizations and his passion for carpentry, Gary had many other interests. He loved to travel, visiting almost all of the 50 states in America. He also enjoyed cruising, gardening, bird watching and spending time with his precious grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family. Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. is honored to be serving Gary’s family.
