Charlotte M. Smith, 93, of Frackville, died Thursday March 18, 2021 at LVHN Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born and a lifelong resident of her families homestead in Frackville, November 26, 1927, She was a daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (Geiger) Smith.

She was a graduate of Frackville High School class of 1945.

She retired as a buyer from Pomeroy’s Department Stores, Pottsville, Wilkes-Barre, Wyoming and Wyoming Valley Mall.

Charlotte was a lifetime dedicated member of the former Christ Episcopal Church North Parrish, Frackville; a former treasurer of Christ Church and North Parish, choir member, lector, church school teacher, officer and member of the Episcopal Churchwomen, Alter Guild, former Secretary and member of the North Parish Vestry; volunteer at the Frackville food bank for 15 years; former member of the Pottsville Pilot Club; Frackville Women’s Club and Chorus; 50 Year member for the Eastern Star Ashland and Frackville Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by the last member of her immediate family, brother Harry Smith in 1984.

Surviving are cousins and her Goddaughter Sara Kallonkowski of Wilmington, DE; and many dear and close friends.

Funeral Services were held at Nice Hart Funeral Home Inc., Frackville. The Rev. Dr. Kurt K. Kovalovich officiated. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to North Parish Episcopal Church PO box 487, Frackville, PA 17931. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Frackville.
