Dorothy I. “Toots” Herring, 91, of Pine Grove, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.
Born on August 30, 1929 in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Alvena Gehres Schnoke.
She was a member of various social clubs in the area.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Calvin G. “Pee Wee” Herring; three brothers, Norman Schnoke, Alvin Schnoke, and Arthur Schnoke; two sisters, Ethel McMillin and Clara Cooper.
Surviving are two brothers, Ernest Schnoke and Ralph Schnoke, both of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services and interment will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. at Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. A procession to the cemetery will leave the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. Pine Grove at 1:00 P.M. for those wishing to follow to the cemetery.
