Thelma M. Crepack, 87, formerly of Pottsville, entered into eternal rest surrounded by family Friday morning at Serenity Gardens, Kulpmont.
Born September 7, 1933 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Anna M. (Lyston) Xedeas.
Thelma was a 1951 graduate of Pottsville High School and she was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. She retired in 1998 as a manager, after 45 years of employment at Wire Tele-View Corporation, Pottsville.
She was a member of the local SPCA and an avid supporter of the National SPCA. She was also a member of the Miraculous Medal Society.
Thelma was proud of her green thumb and loved her roses. She also loved music, football, and dogs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward J. Crepack who died March 15, 2006; brother Thomas Xedeas; sister Elaine Xedeas; niece Deborah Bohr; son Sgt. David Crepack; and brother-in-law Francis Crepack.
She is survived by a daughter Janice George wife of Tommy, Collegeville; granddaughters Nicole Lepisto wife of Joseph, Lititz and Rebecca Gonzales wife of Jared, Collegeville; niece Angelique Schultz wife of Robert and their daughter, Thelma’s beloved Olivia and their son Graham, whom Thelma adored; and niece Alexis Cataldi wife of Philip, Hummelstown.
In addition, Thelma is also survived by her great grandchildren Kaileb and Alina Gonzales and Jayden, Myla, and Coby Lepisto.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Thursday March 18 at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Family and friends may call from 9AM until time of Mass. Private interment will be held on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. It was Thelma’s request that donations be made to the local SPCA or the local chapter of HDSA (Huntington’s Disease Society of America) 500 West Germantown Pike 1900 Suite1020 Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 in her memory.
