Richard H. Stutzman, 81, of Orwin, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Born in Orwin, August 1, 1939, a son of the late Harry and Edna Evans Stutzman.

Rich was a 1957 graduate of the former Porter Tower High School. He was a retired Reproduction Supervisor, Department of Military Affairs at Ft. Indiantown Gap.

He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Orwin; an active member of the Orwin Fire Company where he served as treasurer for many years, a volunteer firefighter and was always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Rich was also a member of the Orwin Gun Club, Muir Fire Company and a social member of the Williamstown American Legion.

Rich loved his granddaughters and looked forward to spending time with them. He could often be found playing cards with his buddies at the firehouse or tending to his beagle hunting dogs.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Barbara Grimm Stutzman; a son, Richard Stutzman, Jr., and his wife Christy, Oklahoma City, OK; two granddaughters, Mary and Victoria both of Oklahoma; a sister, Mary Ellen Reed and her husband Charles, Williamstown; nieces and nephews.

A walk through public viewing following all CDC guidelines will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 6-8pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc, Tower City. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in the St. Peter’s Cemetery, Orwin. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to the St. Peter’s UCC, 427 Dietrich Avenue, Orwin PA 17980.
