Eleanor Joan Barrack, 91, of Danville, passed away Saturday, March 6th, at Geisinger Medical Center.
Eleanor was born in Mahanoy City on March 23, 1929, a daughter of the late Anna (Halushka) and Paul B. Williams and step daughter of Mary Williams.
Graduated from Mahanoy Township High School, Bellevue School of Nursing, later achieved a bachelors and master’s degrees from Long Island University, and.
She worked as a Registered Nurse at Bellevue Hospital, Pottsville Hospital, and Rockland County Hospital.
She enjoyed her puzzles and crossword puzzles and her gourmet dinners with her husband. She also loved her Boxers.
She was wife of the late Ralph Barrack who passed away in 1990.
Eleanor is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Anceravage, of Mahanoy City a brother, Dr. Andrew, husband of Judy Williams, of Catawissa, many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by brothers Elmer, Paul Jr. John, and Sisters Irene Najda and Ethel Williams.
Services will be private at the convenience of family at St.
Interment will follow at the National Cemetery in Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville.
