National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Schuylkill County for Feb. 9.
This is the second such advisory for the area this week … and more may be on the way.
According to the latest information, the Winter Weather Advisory in Schuylkill County is in effect from 1 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Between 2-4 inches of snow is expected to fall on the area. This comes just 2 days after a brief winter storm dropped 1-2 inches of snow over Schuylkill County on Sunday. More wintry weather may occur later this week, too, according to some forecasts.
On Tuesday, the “steadiest” snow will fall over Schuylkill County from 4 a.m. until 1 p.m. and that could make a minor mess out of the morning commute for many.
