State Sen. Dave Argall (PA-9) announced Friday that his offices in Pottsville and Mahanoy City are now open by appointment only for the purpose of assisting the public with property tax and rent rebate questions.
An announcement from the Senator’s office cites the ongoing COVID pandemic as well as a “volume of walk-ins” at these two locations as the reason for limiting entry.
Staff members in these offices will be adhering to CDC and PA Dept. of Health protocol regarding COVID-19 and says limiting in-person activity to those activities will allow his office to be “as responsible as possible to constituent inquiries as Pennsylvanians continue to grapple with the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lengthy shutdown it has caused.”
Constituents in Argall’s district can call: either office to schedule a time to discuss their rent or property tax rebate paperwork:
