Geraldine Alice Daglis, age 93, of Reading, passed away at her son’s home in Sinking Spring on Saturday, January 16th, 2021.

Born in Healing Springs, VA on November 27, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Fannie B. (Smith) Wheeler.

Geraldine was a graduate of Dunbar High School in Washington D.C., Class of 1944. She was a former member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven, before she moved to Reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Nicholas C. Daglis in 2004 and three sons: Michael W., Anthony B., and David A. Daglis

Geraldine is survived by a daughter Harriette T. Davis and her husband Robert, Middleton, DE; two sons: Constantine N. Daglis and his wife Wanda, Flying Hills, PA and Nicholas C. Daglis Jr. and his fiance’ LaVenre Johnson, Sinking Spring; seven grandchildren: Constance and Carnesia Daglis, both of New York, NY, Nicole Daglis, Staton Island, NY; Kiana Daglis, Exeter, Rachael Davis, Middleton, DE, Marie Wilson, Pottsville, and Carrissa Daglis, Flying Hills; a great-grandson Damani Daglis, Exeter; a great-granddaughter Alivia Watson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held private for the family.

Interment will be held in the Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery in Schuylkill Haven.
