Fay E. Potts, 75 – Dedicated Wife, Mother, and Grandmother

Fay E. Potts, 75, of Pottsville, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, in St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem.

She was the wife of Gary Potts. They were married on November 18, 1961 and celebrated 59 years of marriage.

Fay was a devoted homemaker and a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Edith (Laubenstein) Blankenhorn.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Church, Orwigsburg.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Marty, Louie, and Butch, and a sister Emily Ney.

Surviving in addition to her husband Gary, are two sons, David, and his wife Colleen, of Pottsville, and Craig, of Pine Grove; daughter Lorrie, wife of Rick Devaney, of Schuylkill Haven; two brothers, Paul, and his wife Edna, of Schuylkill Haven, and Skip, and his wife Carol, of Schuylkill Haven; five sisters, Marion Bartolet, of Auburn, Carol, wife of George Sullivan, of Schuylkill Haven, Doris, wife of Larry Brown, of Pine Grove, Karen, wife of Tony Sylvester, of Saint Clair, and Sharon, wife of Keith Koch, of Auburn; three grandchildren, Shawn and Ryan Devaney and Ethan Potts; great grandson, Parker Devaney; nieces and nephews.

Private services at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in her name to Lighthouse Church, 10 Hollenbush Ln, Orwigsburg, PA 17961. Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
