Knowles Romps Over Picone: State Rep. Jerry Knowles successfully defended his seat in Harrisburg by soundly thumping Democrat challenger Taylor Picone on Tuesday night, racking up the largest margin of victory in contested races in Schuylkill County. >> MORE INFO
Meuser Rolls to Victory Over Wegman: US Rep. Dan Meuser (PA-9) easily defended his seat in Congress by thumping Democrat Gary Wegman. Wegman’s margin of victory in Schuylkill County was the biggest of the 8 counties where the election for this seat was contested. Overall, Meuser won by a margin of 68% to 32%. >> MORE INFO
Twardzik Wins PA-123rd: Former Ateeco Inc. boss Tim Twardzik has handily defeated his opponent, PJ Symons, for the open seat in the Pennsylvania House 123rd District. Twardzik wins more than 14,800 votes to Symons 8,800+ votes. >> MORE INFO
Schuylkill County Update 2: The most recent update from Schuylkill County Election Bureau and we’re getting a clearer picture of what’s happening out there. At least locally, the Red Wave is real:
- Trump winning 71.7% of the vote locally
- Meuser crushing Wegman
- State House races decidedly RED: Kerwin, Knowles, and Twardzik way in front
Schuylkill County Update 1: In the first update (9:25 p.m.) from the Schuylkill County Election Bureau, here are the bullet points to note:
- President Trump is out to a strong start.
- US Rep. Dan Meuser is ahead of challenger Gary Wegman by about 2,300 votes.
- The race for PA House 123 is surprisingly tight with Republican Tim Twardzik ahead of Democrat PJ Symons by about 260 votes.
- Jerry Knowles is comfortably ahead of Democrat challenger Taylor Picone by nearly 1,100 votes.
- Republicans lead in all state races.
PA Senate 29: Dave Argall is running uncontested and he’s got most of the votes in Berks County so far.
PA House 124: Jerry Knowles is off to a flying start in Berks County. Just 10% of the vote is in there but he’s opened up a nice margin over challenger Taylor Picone:

PA House 125: Joe Kerwin gets 95% of the mail-in ballots in Dauphin County. He’s running unopposed for the 125th District seat in the State House of Representatives.

GOP Says Stay In Line!: The national Republican Party gave a shout-out to Schuylkill County just before polls closed urging voters in some precincts to stay in line to vote. Reports of ballot shortages and long lines in some precincts Tuesday night.

lmao it’s just stupid that Argall doesn’t have an opponent campaigning for the position. Hell… I’ll run for it next time just so there’s at least another thing there. I was actually looking forward to voting him out for a ton of asinine things he said and did during his last twrm.

A couple precincts were very late in getting finished. The Lake Wydoncha+South Manheim vote was lined up along 895 all day. We’re catching up.
