Olga Peshock, 93, of Mar Lin, Norwegian Township, passed away on Thursday at Providence Place.
Born on February 23, 1927 in Mount Laffee, New Castle Township, she was a son of the late Andrew and Mary Cuttic Wartella. She attended the Mount Laffee School and was a 1945 graduate of Minersville High School.
She was employed in the local garment industry.
She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, Minersville.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 49 years, John Peshock, in 1997; two sons, William Peshock and John Peshock; a sister, Anna Wyslutsky.
Olga is survived by two siblings, Andrew Wartella (spouse, Frances), San Clemente, California, and Mary Yost, New Bloomfield; nieces and nephews, including her caretaker, Sandra Wyslutsky, Lancaster.
The family will accept visitors at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury St., Minersville on Monday from 10:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Olga’s nephew, Father Nicholas Wyslutsky, officiating. Interment will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Branch Township. The family prefers donations to the Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery Fund or to Compassus, 1001 James Drive, Suite B34, Leesport, PA 19533.
