Gordon Man Charged with Smashing Mt. Carmel Woman’s Car with Baseball Bat
A Gordon man faces a pair of summary charges after police say he smashed a woman’s car with a baseball bat.
According to State Police in Frackville, they were dispatched to McKnight St. in Gordon just before midnight on Oct. 10.
They learned that 27-year-old Scott Roche, who lives in Gordon, allegedly smashed up the vehicle of a Mount Carmel woman, 26-year-old Haley Torres.
Before police arrived, Roche allegedly dashed from the scene on foot.
Charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief have been filed against Roche before District Judge James Tupper, according to court records.
