Schuylkill County Historical Society Hosting Haunted Walks of Downtown Pottsville in October

Schuylkill County Historical Society is hosting a series of haunted history walks through Pottsville in October.

Walkers can choose between 3 different haunted walking tours around Pottsville:

• Guinea Hill
• Gallows
• Baber Cemetery

These tours will be held on Oct. 10, Oct., 17, Oct. 24, and Oct. 31.

You’ll need to call the Historical Society for times. Dial 570-622-7540 for more information on the schedule.

The cost of this event is $12 for the general public and $7 for children between the ages of 6-13. For Historical Society members, the cost is 10.

The Historical Society says that it will follow all state-regulated coronavirus safety protocols. And it’s important to wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the time of year.
