Thomas A. Letko, 91, of Minersville, passed away on Sunday at Schuylkill Center.
Born on March 20, 1929 in Duncott, Cass Township, he was a son of the late Stephen and Mary Priscilla (Hulock) Letko. He graduated from Minersville High School in 1947; and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service before retiring.
Tom was a member of Holy Family Parish of Minersville; and was also a member of the Minersville American Legion.
Preceding him in death was his wife of 56 years, the former Frances M. Carroll, in 2010; a daughter, Sabrina Fessler, in 1998. The last of eleven children, Tom was also predeceased by six brothers, Andrew, Stephen, John, Joseph, Anthony, and Vincent Letko; four sisters, Helen Hoffman, Anne Yoder Marazas, Eva Music and Margaret Moffitt.
Tom is survived by a daughter, Ronaleen Cuchara (spouse, Steve), Orwigsburg; two grandchildren, Amanda Polynone (spouse, Andrew), Richland, and Christopher Fessler, Minersville; two great-grand-daughters, Allison and Adelyn Polynone; nieces and nephews.
