A pistol and more than $500 in cash were stolen from a pair of vehicles in Shenandoah Heights sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
According to State Police in Frackville, the thefts – unknown if they’re related – happened between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

State Police are still looking for answers in each of the following incidents:
Cash, Safe Key Stolen from Vehicle on Florida Ave.
In one of these incidents, a 21-year-old woman reported that someone stole her purse and a key to a safe from her unlocked vehicle. The incident allegedly happened between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
The wallet was found not far from her vehicle but missing from it was $570 inside.
Whoever stole the purse, cash and key found the items in the side compartment of the driver-side door of the woman’s vehicle.
Pistol Taken from Unlocked Vehicle on Arizona Ave.
In another incident that happened around the same time as the one on Florida Ave. a 35-year-old man reports that someone stole a “9mm semi-automatic pistol”.
The victim tells police he had the gun in the center console of his vehicle, which was unlocked. And he believes the gun was taken some time between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday.
Police say the thief or thieves in each of these incidents are still on the loose.
