Why Does John Fetterman’s Twitter Account Feature the Communist Hammer and Sickle?

john fetterman twitter hammer and sickle communist

UPDATE: Fetterman responded to the backlash from people discovering his use of this image on his Twitter profile. He just issued this tweet:

He says this is an exact copy of the image that wannabe Republican Gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner used against the Wolf-Fetterman campaign a few years ago. That may be true, but why use it?

Trolling?

So, Fetterman clearly doesn’t understand the meaning of the word “troll”. And why bring this up now? Aren’t we in the middle of a pandemic or something? We thought this all wasn’t about politics.

Still, we think Fetterman’s a Communist, so we’ll stick with this post as-is.

john fetterman twitter hammer and sickle communist

Seriously, why does Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman have a hammer and sickle on his Twitter profile?

The answer is: He’s a Communist.

It’s just that they’re usually not so blatant and obvious about it. And this isn’t some spoof account, either. His blue check mark is right there next to his name. This is HIS profile

Why Does John Fetterman’s Twitter Account Feature a Hammer and Sickle?

His running mate and pal Governor Tom Wolf usually tries to hide his Communist leanings. But not Fetterman.

Right there at the top of his profile page is the symbol that once adorned the flag of the USSR or Soviet Union.

john fetterman is a communist

The hammer and sickle are, indeed, symbols of Communism. But the United States and, specifically Pennsylvania, isn’t Communist or Socialist or Democrat Socialist or whatever else they try to call it.

So, maybe instead of asking “Why does John Fetterman have a hammer and sickle on his Twitter profile?”, we should simply ask, “Why is John Fetterman still the Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania?”

And why is Tom Wolf featured on this image? Wolf surely OK’d his photo being on Fetterman’s profile image, so Wolf is obviously OK with being shown next to the hammer and sickle, the symbol of the Soviet Union and the symbol of Communism.

This should concern every Pennsylvanian. It sure as heck worries us.

What is scary is how the Government has told us how to wear a mask, social distance, what constitutes a meal at a bar, what businesses are essential, whether churches can be opened/closed, whether you can sing at a church, having checkpoints at state lines etc.
Scary too is number of people who have NO problem with this. So Fetterman probably thinks The People of PA will go full Communism now all in for the virus.

The day this article came out it was a picture of him and his family. Also, who is the Wagner campaign? Why don’t you tell us about them? I don’t know John Fetterman but I know Tom Wolf is no communist. He’s not a Democratic Socialist either. I may have used that line today against Floridian. Lesson for the day…here is ANOTHER case of how the Radical Leftists have hijacked and twisted a term or definition to use against an opposing party, or thought…(from Webster Dictionary)

The words fascism and fascist have long been associated with the Fascisti of Benito Mussolini and the fasces, the bundle of rods with an ax among them, which the Fascisti used as a symbol of the Italian people united and obedient to the single authority of the state. However, Mussolini did not introduce the word fascista (plural fascisti) with the 1919 organization of the Fasci di combattimento (“combat groups”), nor did the fasces have any direct connection with the origin of fascista. In Italian, the word fascio (plural fasci) means literally “bundle,” and figuratively “group.” From at least 1872 fascio was used in the names of labor and agrarian unions, and in October 1914 a political coalition was formed called the Fascio rivoluzionario d’ azione internazionalista (“revolutionary group for international action”), which advocated Italian participation in World War I on the side of the Allies. Members of this group were first called fascisti in January 1915. Although Mussolini was closely associated with this interventionist movement, it had no direct link with the post-war Fasci di combattimento, and in 1919 the word fascista was already in political circulation. It is, however, to the Fascisti in their 1919 incarnation—who seized power in Italy three year later—that we owe the current customary meanings of our words fascism and fascist.

Fascism is a religious concept. It comes from the Roman Catholic Church during the dark ages. The framework of the corporation also came from the church during the same period.

Yeah, that’s why 9 out of the top 10 tax giving states are blue states. The only red state is Texas. Also, 9 out of the top 10 poorest states are red states. The only state you could consider blue in the top ten is New Mexico. Get your facts straight. All you ever see in red states are high rates of poverty.

Connecticut, NJ, NY, Massachusetts, Illinois. North Dakota, New Hampshire, Washington, Nebraska and Colorado pay more federal income taxes than they receive back in funding.

The main reason for the imbalance, particularly in the top four states, is that those places are home to some of the highest household incomes in the country. Therefore, they pay more in federal taxes, which doesn’t necessarily equate to more federal money for services.

So, back to Fetterman, the Harvard graduate, (so is Levine) with a Public Policy degree, who, oh by the way, ended up in Braddock (do your research). The second piece of the hydra (Wolf-Fetterman-Levine) is a pure “sell yourself to tbe causes of the left” opportunist. This excerpt is from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, in 2009.

“At the beginning of this year, Mr. Fetterman was profiled by The New York Times and had subsequent appearances on “The Colbert Report” and Fox News’ “Studio B w/Shepard Smith.” More recently, he appeared as a part of the Environmental Defense Fund’s “Carbon Caps = Hard Hats” campaign, which advocates capping carbon emissions and creating blue-collar jobs in green industries. He testified before Congress this month and appeared in television and full-page newspaper advertisements across the nation supporting that cause.

The media coverage in particular infuriated some council members and borough Manager Ella Jones, who all railed at him — during a March council meeting at which he was absent — for emphasizing the town’s negative aspects.

“He needs to tone down his rhetoric about the community and the bad shape the community is in and the devastation of the housing,” council President Jesse Brown said in an interview at the time. “If he feels that the community is bankrupt, then he needs to go somewhere where he’d like it.”

Hey PT, why don’t you learn the difference between these terms instead of classifying everything you don’t like as Marxism. Whatever you idiots like is capitalism and whatever you don’t like is Marxism. Get it through your head. You already are a socialist. The social safety net is socialism, not capitalism.

I do know the difference…i listed all of them because we get a little of each from these naked anarchists. You’re correct about a “socialistic safety net” that’s built in to our economy, but its a “safety net”, not a totally dependant lifestyle, welfare state…its a bridge to get you on your feet, not live on it like a suckling bum.

  23. Jason Bourne

    August 12, 2020 at 6:35 pm

It’s socialism, not capitalism.(Period) They are socialist policies. (Period) And if it weren’t for them older people would be dead. Medicare and Medicaid were brought in because insurance companies can’t profit off them and wouldn’t insure them. You talk about Sweden. Sweden is the 4th richest country in the world and only have 9.5 million people. Not bad for the welfare state. They certainly didn’t start out that way. The welfare state in Democratic Socialism is an investment in the people. It works! You also need to take courses in macroeconomics because economically speaking, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

      August 14, 2020 at 2:15 pm

*Social Security is one of the most popular and important financial security nets for retirees in the United States.
*Workers pay into the program while they are younger and then receive guaranteed lifetime income after retirement.
*Some people consider this socialism since the government is involved in the rules, collection, and distribution of funds—but that would be an incorrect interpretation of socialism.
*Social Security is, however, a form of social welfare that ensures the elderly have some minimum level of income.

…take note of the 3rd point of contention with your conflated and garbled statements.

Wow. The first time I actually agreed with you. Social Security is one of the most important programs. But it’s socialism. Along with Medicare and Medicaid. We need these programs because without them older people would die. Older people would not be insured by insurance companies because they can’t PROFIT off of them. This country needs m4a or some other universal healthcare system because on a macro scale getting everyone insured brings the cost down. I have a chart here that proves it. That’s why countries that have it over 90% of the people like it. There’s a needless middle man involved in healthcare. Profiting doesn’t make everything better. It does in certain markets and doesn’t in others. https://www.healthsystemtracker.org/chart-collection/health-spending-u-s-compare-countries/#item-start The reason Sweden’s is so high is because they pay premiums to private insurance although they still rank one of the best in the world.

The purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded and even destroyed.

It’s a scientific fact that liberals have no sense of humor. Every time they get caught doing something stupid, they instinctively say, “It was a joke.” But no one understands their joke. Ya know why? It wasn’t a joke. If it was a joke, what was it in response to? It was totally out of the blue and just made no sense.
