7 Busted Smoking Weed Behind Blue Mountain High School

Seven people were busted recently smoking weed in a wooded area behind Blue Mountain High School.

State Police in Schuylkill Haven say, on July 6 around 2 a.m., they were doing a routine patrol of the area near the school when they heard noise coming from a wooded area.

When troopers did a search of that area, they found 7 people, ranging in age from 16 to 21. Two of them, they say, had some marijuana on them.

Police listed the following as those arrested:

  • Brendan Conway, 20, Friedensburg
  • Tyler Miller, 20, New Ringgold
  • George Trout, 19, Cressona
  • Dylan Jefferson, 19, Schuylkill Haven
  • Chad Gavalis, 21, Pottsville
  • Daniel Regnier, 20, Schuylkill Haven
  • 16-year-old male

Charges have not yet been filed in District Court. State Police say they were helped at the scene by Orwigsburg PD.
