Four Republicans want to replace State Rep. Mike Tobash in the 125th District.
Tobash announced earlier this year he’s retiring from public office. And since then, candidates have been lining up to replace him. That’s on the Republican side, at least. No Democrats will appear on the ballot on June 2 for Pennsylvania’s rescheduled primary election.
Primary Election – PA House 125th District
Here’s who is running on the GOP ticket for the 125th District:
- Christy Joy
- Theresa Santai-Gaffney
- Herv Breault
- Joe Kerwin Jr.
Two of the candidates recently won election to Schuylkill County row offices in the November 2019 General Election.
Joy was re-elected as Schuylkill County Controller. Gaffney won re-election as Schuylkill County Register of Wills.
Breault is a local business owner. And Kerwin is an assistant District Attorney in Dauphin County.
Again, no Democrats will appear on that party’s ballot for the 125th District.
Tobash, a Republican, served in the House since 2011. He defeated Democrat Tim Seip, who served in Harrisburg for 4 years.
