A 32-year-old Hegins man remains in Schuylkill County prison after police say he pulled a gun on a woman and threatened to kill her.
State Police in Schuylkill Haven say Zachary Long, of Hegins, and an unnamed woman got into a shouting match in a vehicle along Mountain Road. The fight happened some time around 9 p.m. on Friday, May 8.
Hegins Man Pulls Gun on Woman During Fight
Long pulled a gun on the woman several times during their argument. At some point, police say, Long threatened to kill the woman.
The fight persisted until the two returned to a house on Vista Road in Upper Mahantongo Township.
Back at the house, Long again pulled a gun on the woman.
State Police arrived on the scene and took Long into custody without incident.
Long remains in prison on $50,000 cash bail. No charges have been filed against Long for this latest incident, according to a search of court records on Sunday night.
