Beverly A. Kohlenberg, 83 – Member of Zion’s UCC, Ashland

Beverly A. Kohlenberg, 83, former Ashland resident, passed away Friday, April 24, at the Shenandoah Manor Senior Living Center.

Born in Fountain Springs, March 23, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Ruth Leiser Fetterolf.

She was a graduate of the former Butler Township High School, Fountain Springs, and had been employed as a Floor Lady for the Ashland Shirt Factory, until her retirement.

Beverly was a member of Zion’s United Church of Christ, Ashland.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert Kohlenberg Sr. passing February 13, 1991, and son, Robert Kohlenberg Jr. passing in 2018.

Survivors:

Daughter: Mellody wife of Mark Pogirski, Wasilla, Alaska

Daughter: Laurel Bosco, Nanticoke

Son: Scott Kohlenberg, and his wife Carol, Frackville

Sister: Judy Rothermel, Klingerstown

Brother: Waldemar “Wally” Fetterolf and his wife Carol, Mowry

Brother: Clyde Fetterolf, and his wife Peggy, Creswell Gardens

Brother: Edward Fetterolf, Lavelle

Daughter in Law: Colleen Kohlenberg, Sunbury

7 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews

Funeral and burial services will be private. Interment will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Lavelle. The Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family members of Beverly wish to thank all the staff members at the Shenandoah Manor Senior Living Center for the excellent care given to their mother. The caring and love shown to Beverly was a comfort to all. Thank You!
