A third resident from Schuylkill County died after contracting the Chinese coronavirus, state health officials confirmed on Wednesday.
Also, the state says 12 more Schuylkill County residents tested positive for the Chinese virus in the last 24 hours. That brings our total number of cases, to date, to 212.

Statewide, cumulatively, there are 26,490 positive Chinese virus cases as of noon Wednesday, April 15. Pennsylvania’s death toll from coronavirus-related illness is now 647.
The first positive case in Pennsylvania was reported on March 6. The first case in Schuylkill County was reported on March 22.
