Schuylkill County’s total of positive COVID-19 coronavirus now stands at 16. That total is 3 higher than yesterday.
This is the seventh consecutive day of positive coronavirus cases locally. Here’s a day-by-day breakdown:

Statewide, there are 2,751 positive cases as of noon Saturday, March 28. That’s 531 cases more than Friday. Twelve more coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Pennsylvania in the last 24 hours. That brings the state’s total to 34.
The first positive case in Pennsylvania was reported on March 6.
Schuylkill County at 16 Positive Coronavirus Cases
To date, there are 2,751 total positive cases in Pennsylvania and another 25,254 negatives. That means 9.8% of those receiving a coronavirus test are testing positive. That percentage remains consistent since the state started consistently reporting negative totals. A total of 28,005 tests have been conducted.
