The latest information from Pennsylvania health officials shows Schuylkill County now at 6 positive COVID-19 coronavirus cases. That’s 1 more than yesterday’s total reported cases.
This is the fourth consecutive day of positive coronavirus cases locally. Here’s a day-by-day breakdown:

Statewide, there are 1,127 positive cases as of noon Wednesday, March 25. That’s 276 cases more than Tuesday. Yesterday’s total of 851 was 207 more than Monday, for perspective.
Four more coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Pennsylvania in the last 24 hours. That brings the state’s total to 11. One coronavirus-related death happened in Luzerne County.
Schuylkill County at 6 Positive Coronavirus Cases
In addition to the 1,127 positive cases, there are an additional 11,193 negatives. That means 9.1% of those receiving a coronavirus test are testing positive. More than 12,000 Pennsylvanians have learned results of a coronavirus tests.
Statewide, Philadelphia County now tests the most positive cases, 257. Montgomery County has the second most, 172. And Delaware County has the third most positive tests, 101.

On Tuesday, we learned through Health Sec. Rachel Levine that the state is not tracking people who’ve recovered from COVID-19 coronavirus. The first case in Pennsylvania was reported on March 6.
