Schuylkill County Now at 5 Positive Coronavirus Cases – 7 Deaths Statewide

The latest information from Pennsylvania health officials shows Schuylkill County now at 5 positive COVID-19 coronavirus cases.

This is the third consecutive day of positive coronavirus cases locally. Here’s a day-by-day breakdown:

  • March 22: 1
  • March 23: 2
  • March 24: 2

Statewide, there are 851 positive cases as of noon Tuesday, March 24. That’s 207 cases more than Monday.

Another coronavirus-related death was also reported on Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 7.

Schuylkill County Now Has 5 Positive Coronavirus Cases

In addition to the 851 positive cases, there are an addition 8,643 negatives. That means 8.9% of those receiving a coronavirus test are testing positive. Nearly 10,000 Pennsylvanians have learned results of a coronavirus tests.

Statewide, Philadelphia County now tests the most positive cases, 177. Montgomery County’s total rose by only 15 overnight, now at 144. Delaware County still has the third most, with 84, 30 more than yesterday.

  • Berks: 16 (+2)
  • Carbon 1 (+1)
  • Columbia: 1 (NC)
  • Dauphin: 4 (+3)
  • Lebanon: 3 (NC)
  • Lehigh: 27 (+2)
  • Luzerne: 21 (+11)
  • Northumberland: 0
